Terraces stay open longer

The bars and restaurants on the Westerhaven may stay open an hour longer. Good news for anyone who wants to linger after shopping: from now on the terraces close at 11 pm instead of 10 pm.
The municipality granted the retailers' association's request, partly in response to the crowds during the summer art markets. Residents in the immediate area have been informed.
The new hours take effect immediately and apply until the end of the season for now. Early next year the arrangement will be reviewed to decide whether it becomes permanent.
